With the social distancing measures taken by the Indian govt due to the novel coronavirus, the US Embassy & Consulates in India are cancelling all interviews in Indian consulates including Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai & Kolkatta starting March 16 2020:
This affects all types of interviews including EB-5, and all other immigrant and non-immigrant visa categories including family, H-1B, F-1, B-1/B-2, etc.
We are tracking this closely, Keep checking back here for info on when the consulate will re-open for interviews again.
July 20, 2020 Update:
As per the US State department, a few consulates around the world will start reopening their consulates for in-person interviews in July. From what I have gathered, Vietnam, France & Kuwait are doing selective interviews. There is still no update on India.
